QC Surgical Drain

A new type of surgical drain I came up with while completing my neurosurgery sub-internships.

The benefits of this drain are that it is equally efficient as the standard Jackson Pratt drain but will aid in patient safety and ensure complete removal at the bedside without the need for extra imaging (ie X-ray or CT scan). This will help decrease cost and also reduce unnecessary radiation exposure.
